Sweet Caroline. You are singing the song aren’t you? So was I, in my head, as I was photographing her session and editing. And honestly, right now as I write this. That song is why Caroline has her name. It has a special meaning for her parents. There was no hesitation on what to name their daughter.

Caroline’s grandfather hand painted mural in her nursery with Dr Seuss theme. Her mother requested we do a set up for The Cat in the Hat. Caroline’s grandmother crocheted her cat hat and I had a character likeness made for her session. Since it was Halloween time, I made it into Caroline’s first Halloween costume and added her trick or treat pumpkin. Caroline knew how special the set up was and gave me the biggest and happiest grin.
