Ryan Senior Class of 2017-Ridley Creek State Park Mansion
Ryan was such a personable young man. I was glad I grabbed him for portraits as my first guy senior. Ryan was easy going and open to the poses I was asking him to try. He hopes to be a writer for screen and plan to major in it. Ryan hasn’t decided on the College or University yet.
Ryan answered a model call for a photographer meet up and photography shoot. The theme was seniors. We chose the grounds of The Hunting Hill Mansion at Ridley Creek State Park. This is beautiful grounds. Most is well shaded creating great lighting against any harsh midday sun. We had our meet up in the evening during the golden hour.
While we were shooting, we kept hearing chestnuts fall from the trees. We were joking that the squirrels were trying to beam him in the head. I told him I will be able to show his mother the before and after the bruise photos. If I was lucky I can catch the culprit in the act! As a result I captured this:
I really like the next one. It is a favorite!
Ryan looks a little like a young Johnny Depp.
You can tell Ryan has siblings. Especially sisters. I didn’t have to prompt for a serious face or a smile. He did each knowing. What a natural. I really enjoyed taking Ryan’s portraits and I wish we had more time (and light) to keep going and exploring the grounds of the mansion. Ryan and his dad are planning on returning to explore the rest of the park.
