Elliette’s Newborn Session

Elliette's Newborn Session - Lancaster Newborn Photographer

Elliette came to see me and there was no doubt about it, she wanted to SEE me.  She was wide awake and making great eye contact.  They make for wonderful photo that her family will cherish forever.

As Photographers, we prefer the babies to be asleep for their session just for the aid of safety.  Yes, they make wonderful cute photos, but unless the baby is wrapped up snug, they can have a jerk reaction and they can weeble wobble themselves over.  The shot above had mom and dad sitting right there even though she was wrapped.  Elliette was a strong girl and kept getting out of her wrap.  Mom and Dad love to help out as spotters, but they are to be relaxing.  I will call superhero dad over to help spot at times as mom's always need a break.

Elliette had some faces she made, and of course like a normal kid, it was not always at the best moment.  However, they became my favorite.  I love her face for her family portrait.  Mom and Dad are going to have fun with photos when she is a toddler.  I see more cherished photos like that in the future.

I found a vintage table cloth at a local store and was so excited to use it for Elliette's session.  I actually bought it only days before her session.  I love the subtle flowers it shows without taking away from beautiful Elliette.
