Newborn Ruth – Lancaster Newborn Photographer
Sweet newborn Ruth. She was my first sibling! In fact, her brother Charlie was one of my first newborns. I am so glad this family saw me at my worst and still came back! When mom told me she was thinking pink for her daughter, I was pretty excited to do it. All my newborn mom’s have been picking beautiful colors but pink hasn’t made it’s appearance for several months. Pink really worked for Ruth’s skin tone.
Ruth was such an easy baby and slept through her session! She cracked a smile at perfect timing. She knew I was doing a composite (blending two images into one for safety) with her brother and smiles were the way to go.
Mom brought a wrap and bow that matched her hospital set. I loved being able to incorporate it into Ruth’s session. This is something that can become an heirloom piece and Ruth can wear it when having children of her own.
Ruth was the first newborn I put in the twig bed. I wanted to do a fall set up, but wanted to keep with mom’s request of neutral tones. I found the perfect fall foliage bunch at Michael’s craft store.
The pink flowers are from Flower and Home Marketplace.
Backdrop is from One Stop Backdrop. Floor drop is from Intuitions (Froth gray)
The lace layer is from my go to vintage thrift store in my town.
Pink cap is from Sandra Love.
I would like to encourage all of my past newborns to ask for little siblings from their parents. Ruth was a fabulous client. If you know anyone who is expecting, send them my way and I can start planning a newborn session for them.
